As a Maui based Photographer, one third of my clients are families on their vacation. It's always so nice to meet each family and capture the sweetest and silliest of memories in Hawaii...
Especially when they are down to get sandy, wet, and goofy! Capturing the innocence, joy, and personality during a candid beach photoshoot is one of the most satisfying things that I do.
Let's be real, anyone can take that "smile and cheese at the camera" kinda photo. Of course I will throw a few of those images in there for you to use as Christmas cards. However, my goal during a family photoshoot is to photograph the moments that really express who you are as a family.
Before each session, I ask my clients for a mini about me. Julie sent me this; "We are a really goofy and fun loving family. We laugh a lot and love to make each other smile. My daughter is one of the brightest lights I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. My husband and I have known each other for over ten years and it still feels like we just fell in love. It’s just the three of us and we consider ourselves to be best friends and a great trio."
